Vitor Ribeiro As A Great Mixed Martial Artist

In the second month of the year 1979, a champion in different sporting activities was born. This great sport man was born in Brazil. Vitor Ribeiro, who was also called Shaolin, is retired mixed martial artist. Lightweight division is the field in which he commenced his career. He professionally competed for; Shooto, DREAM, Cage Force, world fighting Alliance, K-1 HEROS and also cage range. Ribeiro won various titles including Shooto World Light Weight and Cage Rage Lightweight.

His great skills as a mixed martial artist, made him known in different parts of the world. In addition to that, his great skills made him prosperous in every event he participated. Shaolin was a man, who made people who competed against him shatter their dreams, not willingly but forcefully. Beating him was not a walk in the park. Ribeiro was a man of many skills in grappling. His aggressiveness while taking part in competitions was actually incomparable to any other participant in the same category. Shaolin was a nickname given to him by fellow competitors owing to his character while was a trainee in BJJ.

Shaolin commenced his career when he was fourteen years old. He decided to commence gym attendance after he received thorough beating by a fellow leaner in a school he used to attend. While at the gym, he understood his talent and commenced working on it. Shaolin commenced participating in adult category while was just seventeen years old. He commenced winning championships while was this young. He became ranked highly for nationals and Pan Ams.

World was really surprised to see a teen compete and defeat adults. This ability made people believe that Shaolin was truly talented man. By the time he Ribeiro eighteen years, Shaolin won black belt. This was a great achievement for his career. He took part in Brazilian Nationals where he excelled owing to his spectacular performance.

In lightweight division, career of this man continued to shine. He recorded three wins consecutively in world championships. These were achieved in years 1999, 2000 and also 2001. After world championship that was held in 2001, Shaolin moved to MMA. While in this field, the man has really won many titles. In addition to that, his wrestling skills were greatly enhanced for betterment.

After many years of participation, Shaolin retired in 2013. However, he did not exit completely from sports because he ended up becoming a successful referee within the field he used to participate as a competitor. Shaolin is also doing very well as a referee.

In this world of competition achievements do not come with ease. One needs to remain committed throughout the undertaking for betterment. Shaolin was able to perform greatly owing to the fact that he remained dedicated and committed. It is important for young people to emulate character of Shaolin for their own good.

In every field there are always challenges that are faced. Meaning only people who persevere in such challenges became successful. Perseverance and determination of Shaolin played a great part ensuring that he remained at the top of the game. In addition to that, his confidence also played a great part in his achievements.
